First Name : Jill Section of Trail Visited : Island Grove, Rover Run, & 71st to Kodak. Additional Comments : The trail is great but I would like to know when they are going to pave the trail on 95th Ave. It is a pain to rollerblade over and not good on skates. First Name : Steven Section of Trail Visited : all of it Your Trail Story : Nice relaxing ride. Now, if I was really into mountain biking on a local level, Id say some dirt track along the river would be nice. It is nice to see the Lotto going to something like this. First Name : Matt Section of Trail Visited : All except between 35th and Rover Run. Your Trail Story : Is a nice place to do a long run. The cattle guards are a bit of a slowdown, but necessary for the time being, I guess. Additional Comments : When will the extension from Island Grove be extended west? Its been stuck there for a long time. First Name : Pam and Gary Section of Trail Visited : All of it. Your Trail Story : This is to Steve. Are you sure thats all dog poop? You are out in the country. First Name : Pam and Gary Section of Trail Visited : We have biked the trail from 71st.St. to the barrier on the West side of Windsor and back many, many, times. Cant wait for more! Your Trail Story : Its a wonderful ride. The cattle guards give us some upper body exercise and going out, a time to warm up. Coming back, a time to cool down. Additional Comments : The Poudre Trail in Ft. Collins is in terrible shape. Broken, cracked pavement. More fit for off trail bikes. Where are our lotto going? First Name : Ken Section of Trail Visited : All of it. Your Trail Story : I pull my son in a trailer behind my mountain bike. The first time we rode the trail we parked at the red barn and rode the whole way to Windsor (marker 4.5) The cattle guards (Three of them) were a teriable obstruction for us to deal with. Our trailer is First Name : Carol Your Trail Story : I had heard about the Poudre Trail project but hadnt been able to visit it. Last fall when my husband died I was looking for a different way to celebrate Christmas. My sister and I decided it would be better to be active than sit with a big Christmas dinner. First Name : rita Your Trail Story : our favorite part of the trail is from 71 -83 ave. My daughter and I also like going by the dog run and over the train track off of 35 ave. First Name : Kristen Section of Trail Visited : 71st to 83rd Your Trail Story : Would like to take my horses on this section, does anyone know where wed be allowed to ride (the rules only indicate in specified areas only) and how the manure issue is to be handled? First Name : Section of Trail Visited : Your Trail Story : This new section is sweet. However the maze at the gravel pit driveway crossing is a real hazard. Weaving through that maze without hitting the gates or falling in the ditch is not easy. I presume it was intended to slow bikes so they look for trucks. Other than that, its great! First Name : Scott Section of Trail Visited : New Windsor Section Your Trail Story : The gates on the new section in Windsor are in fact designed to slow down bicycles. Please dismount and stop when crossing the mining access road.
