Visit our page of distances. This chart will show you how many miles and steps are between various points on the trail.

  1. Island Grove Regional Park through Greeley: You can access this one mile section from two locations. The trail starts at 11th Ave and D Street on the east side of the park. It parallels 11th Ave north to the river and follows the river to the west side of the park. A trailhead is located near the Bunkhouse located on the grounds of Island Grove Regional Park. Be aware the westernmost portion of the trail (about 1/4 mile) may be closed from time to time because of gravel mining operations occurring north of the trail. This section extends through Greeley and currently ends at Rover Run Dog Park at 5207 F Street.

This beautiful setting for the trail provides a ten mile round trip with the opportunity to observe wildlife and views of the river and bluffs. There are several benches along the trail where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. From 83rd: travel west on 10th Street/ Business 34 from Greeley. Take a left on County Road 62. The trailhead and parking lot for the Poudre River Trail will be located on the north side of the road. Travel west on the trail and across 95th Avenue to gain access to the Kodak section of the trail.

  4. Water Valley: This portion of the trail connects the Kodak and Eastman Park sections. The Trail west of the highway winds along Water Valley Parkway, a quiet, pleasant residential area and along Rockbridge and Habitat Lakes. As you reach the end of this section, heading west, under the newly constructed bridge and underpass, you will connect with....

  5. Eastman Park: This ½ mile section of trail can also be accessed by taking Eastman Park Drive west from Highway 257. When you reach the four-way stop at 7th Street continue west to where the road dead ends. The trail goes east from the dead end.
